What do you usually wear?
It depends on the occasion, my state of mind and obviously the season. But it's funny how sometimes I get up really tired and as soon as I jump on to some high heels, I suddenly recover! There are days when I like dressing up a little more than usual, and some that I just feel like wearing something retro or a little edgy. When going shopping, I focus on finding things that are somehow unusual and not so much on how look on me.

La verdad es que depende mucho; tanto de la ocasión, como de la época, y por supuesto de mi estado de ánimo al despertar. Pero esto tiene un doble sentido ya que lo cierto es que si un día me despierto un poco cansada y me subo a unos taconazos, retomo fuerzas! Algunos días me apetece ir más arreglada, otros con un estilo más despreocupado, otros más retro…
La verdad es que mi principal objetivo a la hora de vestir no es tanto que la ropa me favorezca, como que me guste y que sea diferente.

Where do you usually shop?
As many people of my age, I buy all my basic stuff in Zara, H&M, Bimba y Lola, Topshop or Primark! Before, I wasn't very keen on the idea of buying clothes online, but I've actually tried it, and I must admit that there is amazing stuff at places like Asos.com. But, above all... I'm a vintage lover. I have great fun looking around vintage stores for original pieces.
¿Dónde compras ultimamente?
Cómo mucha gente de mi edad, los básicos los compro en Zara, H&M, Bimba&Lola, Topshop o Primark! Y aunque he estado hasta ahora en contra de comprar online, he cedido y la verdad es que Asos.com tiene auténticas maravillas. Pero lo cierto es que lo que más me gusta es hurgar en tiendas vintage, sobre todo las de Paris, y es cuando me siento más satisfecha con mis compras.
What inspires you?
I have many different inspirational sources...
By the ongoing trends, seen in catwalks, fashion productions or magazines. When I go shopping, I'm actually inspired by the garment itself. As soon as I see something I like, I start imagining it put together with something I might already have. That way, I sometimes buy things I would of never though of buying!
I'm also inspired by what I see in the streets. A 60 year old woman waiting for the bus, a man walking down the street or a hippie riding a bicycle! I'm a curious person, and that helps... a lot!
Books, painting or movies, everything inspires me!!
¿En qué te inspiras a la hora de comprar?
Muchas fuentes de inspiración…
Por una parte de lo que dictan las tendencias: desfiles, reportajes en revistas de moda…
Por otra parte, cuando voy de compras me puedo inspirar de la prenda en sí. Veo una prenda colgada en la tienda y rápidamente mi cabeza la asimila a otra prenda que tengo colgada en mi armario. Y eso hace que cree un look y que compre la prenda y puede incluso que no hubiese pensado nunca comprar algo así!
Pero también me inspiro mucho de la calle. Desde de una señora de 60 años sentada en un autobús, hasta de un hombre paseando, o de una hippie montando en bicicleta! Soy muy observadora y esto realmente me inspira.
O incluso de cuadros, fotografías, películas!
Any treasures in your wardrobe?
Treasures? Everything I have has been my grandmother's, my mum's or my aunties. Fur coats, bags, belts and even shirts. They are treasures, not only for the quality of the materials, but also for what the represent.
¿Algún tesoro en tu armario?
Tesoros? Todo lo que tengo heredado de mi abuela, tias o madre. Desde abrigos de fur, bolsos, cinturones o incluso blusas. Son tesoros no sólo por la calidad de los materiales con lo que se trabajaba antes, sino también por el valor sentimental que representan éstos para mi.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to spend my free time with those I love, family, my boyfriend and friends...
La cuisine is my absolute passion. Going out for lunch, dinner or discovering new restaurants is something that makes me happy!! My latest obsession is DABBAWALA. A restaurant in calle Españoleto that I highly recommend. I also love watching movies...!
But, if my free time includes holidays, be quite sure you'll find me at the beach, sunbathing, going for long walks and sleeping.
¿Qué te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre?
En mi tiempo libre me gusta sobre todo pasar tiempo con la gente que quiero, dedicándolo a lo que más nos apetezca a todos! Familia, Novio, Amigos…
La gastronomía me pierde, y por eso salir a comer, a cenar y descubrir nuevos restaurantes es algo que me entusiasma. Mi último descubrimiento ha sido DABBAWALA. Un restaurante situado en la calle Españoleto que recomiendo a cualquier buen amante de la gastronomía. El cine también me fascina!
Y si el tiempo libre son vacaciones, entonces me gusta estar de vacaciones con lo que todo ello implica: playa, tomar el sol, pasear, dormir…
Your beauty tricks
I am a perfume lover! Perfumes are my true passion. I feel they are the real essence of beauty. Last month I discovered Le Parfum from Elie Saab, and I just can't stop using it. It makes me feel really feminine and full of energy. It's somehow like wearing one of her marvelous designs.
Bronzing powder is something I always wear. I have lately been using Belle Mine from Jean Paul Gaultier. They are great! They where designed for men in the first place, but now, many professionals are using it all the time. The "light effect" is immediate!
Tus trucos de belleza
Soy una apasionada de los perfumes! Los perfumes son mi verdadera pasión. Considero que son la verdadera esencia de la belleza. Es ese aura que te envuelve y que tanto transmite. Descubrí el mes pasado el Eau de Parfum de Elie Saab y ahora no puedo perfumarme con otra fragancia. Cada mañana hace que me sienta ultrafemenina y llena de luz. Es como llevar puesta una muselina del diseñador.
En cuanto al maquillaje, siempre llevo polvos de sol. Mi último descubrimiento? Los de Jean Paul Gaultier, Belle Mine. Son una auténtica maravilla. Aplicándolos consigues el efecto de buena cara que todas deseamos. Aunque estos polvos estuviesen en un principio pensados para el hombre, ahora son muchas las profesionales del sector de la belleza las que usan este producto y que lo recomiendan. El efecto de buena cara es inmediato!
What are you planning in shopping?
I've just bought a short black leather skirt with buttons in a vintage store in Paris. I'm willing to match it with a super feminine shirt or a thick yellow mustard pullover.
¿Cual será tu próxima compra?
Justo esta tarde he comprado una falda de cuero negra cortita con botones delante de corte evasé en una tienda vintage en Paris. Estoy deseando combinarla con una blusa ultrafemenina blanca o con un jersey de punto gordo color mostaza.
