LFW Diary: Friday

9:00: Paul Costelloe AW 2011

I arrived on Friday at 8:00 am, rushed to my friend's house Amal, and got dressed in exactly 10 minutes. I was exhausted, but it was obviously worth it!!

Unfortunately, I had NO battery on my camera, and there was no time for me to charge it, so I just had to take some pics from the internet. Sorry about that...

The collection was amazing, tweeds and tartan wools dominated the show. There was an amazing mixture of greens and pinks with a metallic touch.

He sent his models down the catwalk with frizzed red hair! (loved that detail)

Llegue a Londres el viernes a las 8:00 de la mañana, corriendo fui a casa de mi amiga Amal, me cambie en exactamente 10 minutos. Os prometo que jamas habia tenido tanto sueño, pero merecio la pena!!

Desafortunadamente, no me di cuenta, y no carge mi camara, por lo que las fotos las he sacado de internet. Lo siento...

La colección nos parecio una pasada, el desfile estuvo dominado por tweeds y lanas de cuadros. Habia una increíble mezcla de colores verdes y rosas con cierto toque metálico.

Costelloe mando a sus modelos con el pelo erizado y rojo! (Me encanto ese detalle)

After the show, we had something to eat, went home and charged my BELOVED camera!

Despues del desfile, comimos algo y nos fuimos a casa a cargar mi querida camara!

15:00 pm: Falguni & Shane Peacock

As you will see we where lucky enough to be in the first row, which to be honest... was an incredible experience!!!!

I loved the collection.

Layers of sheer fabrics, feathers, chains and studded leather could be seen in maxi dresses, body con dresses and skin tight jumpsuits.

I must say, I fell in love with a couple of dresses and their huge heels.

Como podéis ver tuvimos la gran suerte de estar en primera fila, que para ser sincera... fue una experiencia increible!!!

Me encanto la colección.

Capas de transparencias, plumas, cadenas y cuero perforado fueron los materiales que pude ver en maxi vestidos, vestidos body con y en monos ultra ceñidos.

Tengo que decir que me enamore de un par de vestidos y de los taconazos que llevaron las modelos.

22:00 pm: After Party

On friday night we attended a great after party in Jalouse, with live music and looooots of "cool" people. Everybody was dressed up in a funny way, which was just a reflection of what London Fashion Week creates.
It was real fun!!




Por la noche fuimos a un after party en Jalouse, con musica en vivo y con mucha gente "cool y guapa". Todo el mundo iba vestido de forma diferente y curiosa, un reflejo de lo que crea el London Fashion Week.
Fue muy divertido!!

What do you usually wear during the day? and at night?

During the day, I wear jeans, long skirts or shorts. I combine them with oversized cosy sweaters and printed vintage shirts.
At night, I look similar, but I usually wear high heels and I try to add some more complements, such as jewelry (exagerated earings and bracelets) and a cute clutch.
Sometimes I wear dresses.




¿Cómo sueles vestir a diario? ¿Y por la noche?

A diario, visto con vaqueros y jerséis enormes que son muy calentitos y quedan bien con todo, camisas de aire vintage. Lo combino todo con faldas largas o shorts.
Por la noche visto prácticamente igual que de día pero con taconazos, mas complementos (pulseras grandes o pendientes llamativos) y carteras. También utilizo vestidos.

Where do yo usually go shopping?

I normally shop in Zara, H&M, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Bimba y Lola, Hakei and Uterqüe.
But I love vintage stores above all.
For my handbags, Loewe without a doubt!




¿Dónde compras habitualmente?

Habitualmente suelo comprar en Zara, Mango H&M, Masimo Dutti, Bimba y Lola, hakei y Uterqüe.
Aunque lo que más me gusta son las tiendas vintage.
Para bolsos loewe sin duda!

What do you like to do in your free time?

Like every student living away from home, I like being with my friends and going out. I love walking around Madrid, searching for new pubs and restaurants, or just spending an afternoon having "tapas" around Sol.
I also like reading, the last book I read was "El tiempo entre Costuras", I highly recommend it, it's very entertaining.




¿Qué te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre?

Como a todos los estudiantes que vivimos fuera de nuestra casa, estar con mis amigos y salir. Me encanta pasear por Madrid, descubrir barecillos donde tomarme un cóctel , algún restaurante curioso o irme de tapas por Sol.
También leer, mi último libro ha sido el Tiempo entre Costuras, muy entretenido.

Your beauty tricks

I remove my makeup and put moisturizing cream before going to bed every day, no matter what! I try not to sunbathe too much, and I use day cream with sunscreen. During the day I normally put on some mascara, concealer and blush, I hate wearing makeup in excess.
For my hair, I use a one a week treatment called "Nutri restructurante lactocerat, Ducray".



Tus trucos de belleza

Desmaquillarme siempre antes de dormir y utilizar crema hidratante. No tomar mucho el sol, y utilizar protección cuando salgo de casa. Los días de diario no maquillarme en exceso, antiojeras, rímel y colorete, nada de base de maquillaje que engrasa mucho la cara.
Para el pelo una vez a la semana uso el bálsamo de farmacia nutri restructurante lactocerat de ducray.

What are you planning on shopping?

A t-shirt I love from Bimba y Lola and a ring I've seen in Adamarina Alhajas.
